Appointed by Total Fitness Health Clubs Ltd as project managers and contract administrators for overseeing the refurbishment works to form a new women’s gym facility for our clients.

Our role

BWP Building and Project Consultants were appointed as Project Managers and Contract Administrators for overseeing the refurbishment works to form a new women’s gym facility for our clients Total Fitness Health Clubs Ltd. The scheme comprised of the internal design/remodeling and refurbishment of an existing area within the main Total Fitness unit including finishes and general repairs.  The main gym facility remained fully operational for the works duration, which required a collaborative approach to maintain Health and Safety and ensure the staff/customers were updated and segregated throughout the construction program. As the new facility had to be ready for occupation and use for an immediate post-Christmas opening there was a tight window to complete the project to maximise sign ups in the lead up to Christmas. Through careful planning and co-ordination, the scheme was completed and handed over ahead of program allowing the facility to open to public earlier than anticipated.
